More showers and downpours will be around, but the severe threat has passed. We're not done yet, far from it, and we certainly don't need more rain.

All the rainfall for April has rewritten the record books. This April has jumped to the 5th wettest April since records have been kept in 1871!

Here's why we'll see more rain. What's known as a cutoff low pressure has developed and will stall around the Tri-State. This will keep rain and storms in the forecast for Friday, Saturday, and likely Sunday now.
